Oceans Day 2009

Plan to join us in Sacramento on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 for a day of education and advocacy on behalf of our ocean.

Oceans Day ’09 is organized by CalCoast and Environment California. Co-organizers include Heal the Bay, Monterey Aquarium, Natural Resources Defense Council, Ocean Conservancy and Surfrider Foundation. This year the program will include a day of meeting with legislators and staff to discuss a wide variety of issues, budgets and legislation affecting our ocean, an educational seminar presented by Communication Partnership for Science and the Sea (COMPASS) and a reception with a special screening of two amazing ocean films at the Esquire IMAX Theater.

We look forward to seeing you at this great day on behalf of our ocean.
